dear friends & family -- our hearts are heavy today as we share with you that a friend of ours who spent much of his time on the streets of Lima has been hit by a bus and is in the hospital in a coma. he's a young boy about 12 years old. sweet, mischievous, and funny. many of you may remember me telling you about a girl, Katty, who passed away after being hit by a bus and being in a coma for almost a year. Italo is Katty's little brother. so needless to say their family is broken and hurting terribly.
so we're taking the day to fast and pray for Italo and his family. join us in any way you like.

I just spent the week with your parents in Iowa. Their hospitality was overwhelming. And I thought of you and prayed for you several times during the week because I slept in your room.
